Lewisham’s second Low Emission Bus Zone has been launched between Lewisham and Catford.

This means that older, more polluting buses will now be taken out of service and replaced with retrofitted or newer models which meet low emissions standards, cleaning up more than 470 buses on 31 routes. It comes after Lewisham’s first Low Emission Bus Zone was launched in New Cross last year.

Having campaigned for more low emission buses across Lewisham it is great to see Sadiq and TfL are delivering clean buses for Lewisham.
